K.V. ONGC, PANVEL is declared and acclaimed as the best school among all the KVs of ONGC all over India. The PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION on the 15th ANNNUAL DAY CELEBRATION of the school felicitated the Principal MR. CHERIAN C.GEORGE with a citation and momento.

Two teachers Mrs Elizabeth and Mrs Vrinda Joshi were felicitated by the Regional office for their commendable contribution to the 10th board results of 100/100 secured by two students in maths and science respectively.

School topper Lanka Sri Harsha got a golden opportunity to witness the Republic day parade from the honorable Prime Minister's box which was indeed an elevating national level recognition.

The stupendous performance by the students of K.V ONGC PANVEL in enacting the role play of the honourable members of the Parliament house was applauded by the eminent dignitaries of the Parliament, the high officials of ONGC and KVS present, who graced the occasion on the 17th of October-2003.in the school premises The Parliament session gave the students a forum to enhance their debating skills and ingraining in them a secular democratic outlook .

The first 3 winners were escorted by Mrs. Jasjit Kaur Bhatia to Delhi for receiving the Regional Trophy and the medals of the winners from the Honorable Minister.

KV ONGC School teams represented Mumbai region in KVS National meet in cricket, football, basket ball and athletics.

A student represented KVS in SGFI meet (Badminton singles)

Bagged the first position in English Elocution competition under KVS National Social Science Competition.

Represented Mumbai region at National level Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition.

XXXVII National Mathematics Talent Competition was conducted in the month of October 2005 by the Association Of Mathematics Teachers Of India.

Debal Saha, a student of KV, ONGC, Panvel presently studying in Xth standard secured 6th position in the Junior Level Test..

INTERNATIONAL ASTRONAUTICAL CONGRESS 2007

Miss Kshitija Mane attended the IAC2007(_INTERNATIONAL ASTRONAUTICAL CONGRESS'S CONFERENCE_) in hyderabad from 24th september to 28th september.
