KV ONGC Panvel imparts education at three levels, viz., from classes

• I to V - Primary
• VI to X - Secondary
• XI to XII - Senior secondary

The students are prepared for the all India Secondary School Examination (Class X) and for the All India Senior school Certificate Examination (Class XII) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

In line with the National policy on education: a child centered activity oriented approach has been adopted in the Vidyalaya. The brighter students are assigned higher targets with greater freedom of self-learning while the slow learners are provided facility for guided learning. The teachers are well aware that each child is an individual with its own pace of development. Education is imparted through a bilingual medium (Hindi & English).

Facilities also exist for teaching Sanskrit from VIth to Xth as a subject . In primary the emphasis is on joyful learning through an activity base approach together with a system of grades for accessing the child's performance .The aim of assessment is to improve the child's capability, rather enforcing retention in the same class.

Although KV ONGC Panvel has been in existence for only 15 years and is short on history but is high on hopes. It has trail blazed into the list of top few schools of the region. It is at its pinnacle of success, leaving an indelible mark in the field of academics, co curricular and extra curricular activities.
